Mixed luck for Odisha in Santosh Trophy Qualifiers

Odisha crashed out of the 70th National Senior Men Football Championship for the Santosh trophy with one win and one loss in the East Zone Qualifying Round, held at Kalyani in West Bengal from Feb 10 to 12.

Led by Kedarnath Singh, Odisha beat Sikkim 2-1 in their opening match but lost to host West Bengal 0-3 two days later. After Santosh Trophy, Odisha team will travel to participate in the Birat Gold Cup Football Tournament to be held at Birat Nagar in Nepal from February 18.
